£29.50 offer included canapes, champagne cocktail, 3 course choice from A La Carte and tea or coffee. We were the only guests for an hour until 1400 when other diners finally joined us. Great cocktails to start and a pretty romantic setting. Had issue with my ginger ale however which had far too much ice added to the glass and subsequently tasted nothing like ginger ale. Service was slow and with very little attention to detail. The cuisine at The Grill Restaurant is European in style, with an unfussy feel, clean robust flavours and modern touches, and a strong emphasis on seasonal British produce. The rooms are... ", Flemings Mayfair remains open to welcome business travellers. First booking I've made for Flemings of Mayfair, I was very happy with my choice. Nice boutique feel! Location wise, it is perfectly central and décor/setting is grand. It's a shame as the service was good and the dinning room had a good ambience for 7pm on a Wednesday. At Flemings Mayfair you’re perfectly placed to explore London’s cultural highlights. Would recommend but they need to improve restaurant service. Unfortunately we were disappointed with Flemings. The menu defines modern European with big robust colourful flavours and quality seasonal ingredients. not impressed. Odd. However when hers did arrive she enjoyed it very much (though I think she was given a better cut of meat). The Toptable offer is simply an outstanding value. Our restaurant and bar are closed during this time, but you can enjoy the taste of Ormer at Home with our takeaway and delivery services, Tasting Menu by Great British Menu Finalist Kerth Gumbs. Top Table offer provided excellent value and wine list was reasonably priced. According to the restaurant, bookings must be made with a min of 24 hours notice. The scottish beef and salmon were good, not great. Nice ambience throughout especially in the bar area for pre-dinner drinks. Part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the award-winning hotel offers unrivalled luxury accommodation in one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods. Food was pretty good though portions were quite small and the small piece of cod fillet I had for mains was a bit overdone (a little solid, dry and chewy, not moist and flaky) Price was OK considering the area. Cocktails and canapes were great, starters poor - best items not available and mackrel over-cooked, mains fair but nothing special, best course the pudding of pannacotta - delicious. I started with the beetroot and goats cheese dish which was delicious. Situated right next to Green Park, Flemings’ Grill is all about decor and location. One person ordered turkey which was so dry it was almost inedible. We dined pre Curzon Theatre. Portions were small, especially the steak main. Quintessential boutique hotel in a fantastic location! The food arrived soon after and most of the sandwiches were too dry to eat. The special value menu looked great. A lovely location and excellent value. The tea arrived relatively quickly and was pleasant enough. The food was only fair to good. The environment is 5star luxury hotel but somehow relaxed and under-stated. Very intimate feel to the bar area. Wine list offers a reasonably selection of mostly european wines. Please see our partners for more details. I was, 7-12 Half Moon Street, London W1J 7BH England. The food was very good with more choices than you usually get with a prix fixe and there were a couple of tasty amuse bouches thrown in as well. The one weakness was the service. Flemings Mayfair is one of the most iconic boutique hotels in Mayfair. Everything done to an acceptable standard, but nothing to get excited about either. But it was disappointing as I didn't feel very welcome and the food wasn't great. I can honestly say this one is hard to beat especially as we love Shephards Market with all the alfresco restaurants. I had to ask for my empty wine glass to be topped up as our bottle was sitting on another serving table (and in fact I heard a gentleman on another table asking for his water, same situation). The cuisine at The Grill Restaurant is European in style, with an unfussy feel, clean robust flavours and modern touches, and a strong emphasis on seasonal British produce. Find all the latest hotel special offers from Flemings Mayfair. We were the only lunch booking they had, so it was very quiet indeed. In addition, although the service was friendly it wasn't that professional considering the setting and the music choice wasn't suitable for the venue. The staff in the bar were friendly & polite. We had a decent table in the restaurant, with enough space around us for privacy. Yet when we eventually got to sit down I still had crumbs all over my chair. I also had a bottle of wine & water with the meal, so, Including service, it was around £90 for 2 people.Firstly, the lady on reception made us feel welcome, she offered us the choice of taking our cocktail & canapes in the bar, or the restaurant. An excellent and intimate experience - even at breakfast. Food was excellent - particlularly the canapes.Ambience in the bar was spoilt by the TVService was goodvery good value for money. The set menu option was very limited. {"baseUrl":"http://www.opentable.co.uk","environment":"prod-ln","hostName":"mesos-agent89-prod-ln.otsql.opentable.com:31269","language":"en","releaseName":"start-page-docker_teamcity_2.0.10354","requestId":"ff0c41c0-df00-4b80-adca-71da9c121719"}. Also the lighting was far too bright for an evening. There was a particularly long gap between when we finished desert and when we were offered coffee which was quite annoying.I wouldn't hesitate to go again though. I had read earlier reviews with slight misgivings as there were both positive and constructive feedback. The management did however offer us each a glass of champagne to compensate for the wait, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated by us.the food itself however was largely average, sandwiches - minimal unexciting filling, strawberry jam - so runny it could have been syrup. Had problems booking with them direct and not particularly helpful as we were staying overnight in one of their rooms. The wine list is superb and again extraordinary good money. Well worth it. The Grill at Flemings Mayfair Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel situated in one of central London’s most exclusive neighbourhoods in the heart of fashionable Mayfair. There were lots of sandwiches and little cakes but not all had a distinct specific taste, which is my number one priority with food. Food was delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly too, his timing and his demeanour was perfect. (Although few waiters were absolutely helpful and well mannered like Faruk). Everything operated with German efficiency. Just good taste was missing. We were the only people who arrived for afternoon tea, and despite booking, had to wait 15 minutes for a table to prepared. While the staff were not rude to us, they did look a bit confused to have us there and were quite abrupt in their service. Having been to Flemings on several occasions in the past, the choice was easy for a group weekday dinner. Perhaps this is just a matter of the hotel and restaurant being new and the music not being installed, but it would be much better to have.. Fleming's Mayfair is one of the few places that's modern with a classic feel. We chose the bar, the decor was funky, stylish and comfortable. The booking was made that morning and I received confirmation of the reservation within minutes, through an opentable email. Great value for Mayfair and well worth checking out the bar after. We were slightly disappointed with the food we received - although the flavours were nice, the lamb was very tough and extremely fatty. For the price it was truly amazing. Stylish restaurant in an attractive boutique Mayfair hotel.
