Superman has a tendency of getting transformed into giant raging monsters. Issue #17 of Superman/Wonder Woman proved it wasn’t the exception to that rule. This time around she’s turned all the world’s male superheroes into animals and man/animal hybrids. Unless Maxima is a major jobber, she can't lose. Unfortunately, Circe has ensnared Superman with some nasty magic, transforming him, giving him protrusions similar to Doomsday and boosting his strength through dark magic. The fight ends, Diana having given as good as she’s got, by capturing Lord, and much to many a fans’ shock, killing him. They are very powerful but it seems the two biggest issues that debaters like myself must always cover are Radion and TP. Nearly all the resistance fighters are mercilessly slaughtered by the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight, and Wonder Woman kills Batman. However, she is quickly defeated, barely capable of slowing him down. Her action only angers Superman to the point of irrationality. Cause I was talking about Grail. In the 600th issue of Action Comics, Wonder Woman and Superman kiss for the first time. In fact you could look almost any wiki or origin story for the New Gods and you would see they evolved from their proximity to the source into what they are. @dextersinister1: Grail is half New God and half Amazon so she doesn't have the same divinity as WW as Diana is half Olympian and half Amazon unless that was retconned again. We don't know the full limits or even power sets and skills of Grail, so it's very hard to discuss in full. Look this is probably my last post on the matter as I think Grail would beam/blitz before Maxima took her seriously but the point is unless it shown explicitly that Grail or that New Gods in the New 52 have TP resistance on the level that Maxima operates then you shouldn't assume that she does.
